The refrigeration instructions are intended to maximize stability throughout the product's shelf life, but they do not mean the medication becomes ineffective or unsafe if it temporarily warms during transit.

Our compounded GLP-1 medications are shipped using packaging that has been evaluated under real-world shipping conditions. Independent third-party stability testing has demonstrated that the medication remains safe, sterile, and effective during transit for up to 7 days, even when exposed to temperatures as high as 104°F (40°C). This testing is designed to simulate the temperature fluctuations that can occur during transportation.
When assessing a temperature-sensitive medication, it is important to understand that stability is determined by both temperature and duration of exposure. Brief temperature excursions during shipping are different from prolonged storage at elevated temperatures. The medication has been tested to ensure that these temporary shipping conditions do not negatively impact its quality, potency, or sterility.
Upon delivery, the medication may feel cool, room temperature, slightly warm or hot depending on weather conditions, transit times, and the time elapsed since delivery. This alone does not indicate that the medication has been compromised. In many cases, the cold packs included in the shipment may no longer be frozen upon arrival, which is expected and does not mean the medication is unsafe to use.
Once received, you should place the medication in the refrigerator as soon as possible and store it according to the instructions provided. Refrigeration helps maintain the medication's quality for the remainder of its beyond-use date.

Important: The FDA-approved prescribing information cited above applies to the branded products (Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Zepbound). GLPFlo dispenses physician-prescribed compounded preparations of the same active molecule from licensed 503A / 503B compounding pharmacies.
